About Brittany N. Williams
Brittany N. Williams is a SAG-AFTRA & AEA actress, writer, singer, and director. She is the Co-Artistic Director of The NOLA Project and author of That Self-Same Metal (Abrams 2023), Book #1 in the FORGE & FRACTURE SAGA. She holds a BFA in Musical Theatre from Howard University and an MA in Classical Acting from the Royal Central School of Speech & Drama. Brittany has performed across three continents—including a year spent as a principal vocalist at Hong Kong Disneyland—and her writing has been featured on BlackNerdProblems.com, Tor.com, in The Indypendent, The Gambit, Fireside Magazine, and in the Star Wars anthology From a Certain Point of View: The Empire Strikes Back. Based in New Orleans, Williams has performed in Stage Door Songbook: Cole Porter (Susan), Harry & the Thief (Vivian), and Mary Full of Gray (Mary/writer) and is the 2019 Stage Door Idol winner. Some of her favorite credits outside of the city include Universal Robots (Helena), Margaret I (Joan of Arc), Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds (Nansi – Helen Hayes Award Nom.), Antony and Cleopatra (Soothsayer/Clown), and Lear (Cordelia/Fight Captain).
