Shakespeare had stories to tell, and so do you! Join us for this hands-on workshop where you will learn how to tell your story through comics. Washington, D.C. artist Evan Keeling will teach participants how to make a mini 8-page book out of a single sheet of paper, creating your very own comic book. Participants will get instruction and practice with comic making techniques. No prior art, drawing, or comic experience required!
This workshop runs 90 minutes and is open to individuals and families of all ages and stages. Pre-Registration recommended, but not required.

Evan Keeling
Evan Keeling is a native Washingtonian and a comic book writer and artist. Evan views comic making as a conduit for expression that helps people find their voice and tell their stories. Some of his comics can be found in the DCPL punk archives. He has also created comics for the Smithsonian Institution, Oni Press and Fulcrum Publishing.
