How to buy tickets
- Accessible seating: Patrons who wish to reserve accessible seating in the Folger Theatre may call the box office at (202) 544-7077. A box office associate will be happy to find the best seat location for you. Please let our staff know if you may need assistance entering the building or if is anything else we can do to make your experience comfortable.
- Accessible parking, for visitors displaying the international symbol of accessibility:
There are three public accessible parking spaces in front of the theater entrance near East Capitol and Third Streets, SE. They are available Monday–Friday from 7am–6:30pm on a first come, first served basis.
Evening and Weekend Visitors
In addition to the public accessible spaces in front of the theater entrance, there is limited onsite accessible parking available on a first come, first served basis for patrons attending public programming. To request a space, please contact the Folger Box Office as far in advance as possible at firstname.lastname@example.org or (202) 544–7077.
- Assisted listening devices: Our Assisted Listening Devices, which work with headphones or with T-Coil wireless transmission, are available at all performances and events in the Folger Theatre at no extra charge. These devices can be picked up at the Folger box office prior to an event on a first come, first served basis. A photo ID is required.
- Open-captioned performances: Folger Theatre offers two open-captioned performances for each of its regular season productions. Open captioning makes live theater performances accessible by using a non-intrusive caption board at the front of the stage which scrolls the entire text of the production in real time. Please see individual production pages for the scheduled open-captioned show. Call the box office at (202) 544-7077 to ask a box office associate about the best seat locations from which to see the caption board. Folger Theatre’s open-captioned performances are generously sponsored by Vinton and Sigrid Cerf.
