Enter Buckingham, with ⌜Sheriff and⌝ Halberds, led toexecution.
BUCKINGHAM
3284 Will not King Richard let me speak with him?
SHERIFF
3285 No, my good lord. Therefore be patient.
BUCKINGHAM
3286 Hastings and Edward’s children, Grey and Rivers,
3287 Holy King Henry and thy fair son Edward,
3288 5 Vaughan, and all that have miscarrièd
3289 By underhand, corrupted, foul injustice,

Is the determined respite of my wrongs.3303 20 That high All-seer which I dallied with
3304 Hath turned my feignèd prayer on my head

3308 25 Thus Margaret’s curse falls heavy on my neck:
3309 “When he,” quoth she, “shall split thy heart with
3310 sorrow,
3311 Remember Margaret was a prophetess.”—
3312 Come, lead me, officers, to the block of shame.
3313 30 Wrong hath but wrong, and blame the due of blame.
Buckingham exits with Officers.
