Scene 7

Synopsis:

Having secured Corioles, Lartius leaves to join Cominius.

Titus Lartius, having set a guard upon Corioles, going
with Drum and Trumpet toward Cominius and Caius
Martius, enters with a Lieutenant, other Soldiers,
and a Scout.


LARTIUS 
0707  So, let the ports be guarded. Keep your duties
0708  As I have set them down. If I do send, dispatch
0709  Those centuries to our aid; the rest will serve

0710  For a short holding. If we lose the field,
0711 5 We cannot keep the town.
LIEUTENANT  0712  Fear not our care, sir.
LARTIUS  0713 Hence, and shut your gates upon ’s.
0714  (To the Scout.) Our guider, come. To th’ Roman
0715  camp conduct us.
They exit, the Lieutenant one way, Lartius another.
