Scene 10

Synopsis:

Antony places himself so that he can watch his galleys doing battle at sea.

Enter Antony and Scarus, with their army.

ANTONY
2731  Their preparation is today by sea;
2732  We please them not by land.
SCARUS  2733  For both, my lord.
ANTONY
2734  I would they’d fight i’ th’ fire or i’ th’ air;
2735 5 We’d fight there too. But this it is: our foot
2736  Upon the hills adjoining to the city
2737  Shall stay with us—order for sea is given;
2738  They have put forth the haven—
2739  Where their appointment we may best discover
2740 10 And look on their endeavor.
They exit.
