Formerly the property of St. Alban’s College (the English College), Valladolid, Spain, this copy bears on its titlepage the certificate of a censor for the Inquisition (“Opus auctoritate Sancti officij permissum et expurgatum eadem auctoritate per Guilielmum Sanchæum e Socte Jesu”) along with extensive marks of censorship and expurgations (for instance, this copy is missing Measure for Measure in its entirety!).
