Ken Hitz
Ken Hitz is president of the Hitz Foundation supporting numerous projects in the arts, science, and the environment. Prior to working at the Hitz Foundation Ken was a senior manager for Price Waterhouse Management Consulting specializing in system architecture and implementation. He also worked as the Director of Technology for Pru-One, a Hong Kong based internet bank.
Ken serves as the Chair the Board for Play On Shakespeare. He is also a board member of the Maasai Wilderness Conservation Fund, Global Digital Heritage, and the Royal Shakespeare Company – America. He has previously served on the boards of Chamber Music San Francisco, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and the Global Heritage Fund. He also serves on the Fellowship Selection Committee for the Union of Concerned Scientists, and on the Advisory Board for the American Museum of Natural History.
Ken holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. Ken and his wife, Liselott, have two daughters.
