Jennifer Rampling

is Associate Professor of History at Princeton, where she teaches in the Program in History of Science. She is the author of The Experimental Fire: Inventing English Alchemy, 1300–1700 (2020), and has published articles on alchemy, John Dee, and scientific themes in Shakespeare. She is currently writing a book on alchemical imagery.
