Erin Harvey Moody and Christy Gordon Baty

are needlework historians and partners in Relics In Situ. Erin is a certified Costume and Textile Collections Manager. Christy earned her Master’s Degree in History focusing on women’s contribution to early modern embroidery. They both studied historical embroidery technique at the Royal School of Needlework. Christy and Erin received a Folger Institute Public Humanities Fellowship to present their work at the Esther Inglis Symposium at the University of Edinburgh in Fall 2024.
