is the Founder and Producing Artistic Director of Take Wing And Soar Productions and the Harlem Shakespeare Festival, as well as, an emerging playwright and award winning actress. She recently worked with story coach Tanya Taylor Rubinstein and Tina Packer of Shakespeare & Company to develop and create her new one-woman show, BECOMING OTHELLO: A Black Girl’s Journey. In the fall of 2019, Debra Ann first performed BECOMING OTHELLO, to critical acclaim, at Shakespeare’s Birthplace Trust in Stratford-upon-Avon, UK.
