was awarded a BA and a PhD in History from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and an MA in Sociology of Culture from the Universidad Nacional de San Martín (both in Argentina), where he teaches undergraduate courses at the Department of History. His research focuses on the cultural and intellectual history of melancholy. Andrés is a 2023-24 Short-Term Scholarly Research Fellow at the Folger Shakespeare Library, and a postdoctoral fellow at the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Científicas y Técnicas (CONICET). His first monograph, El mal moderno. La melancolía en Gran Bretaña, 1660-1750, was published in 2024 by Miño y Dávila.
