Two pairs of identical twins—separated at birth—spend the day travelling through the same city and only just missing each other. An uproarious farce filled with mistaken identities, romantic entanglements, and pratfalls, this comedy shows how all roads lead to home.
Folger favorite and four-time Helen Hayes Award winner Holly Twyford brings brisk energy and sharp focus to The Comedy of Errors. Her lively take on this classic celebrates the simple truth that love, laughter, and community make life richer.

Holly Twyford
Holly Twyford (narrator)
Actor/director Holly Twyford has performed in over eighty productions in and around Washington-area, including Arena Stage, Signature Theatre, Shakespeare Theatre Company, Studio Theatre, and Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company to name a few. She recently appeared in Arena Stage’s Inherit the Wind. Nominated for multiple Helen Hayes awards, she is a four-time recipient. Ms. Twyford was honored with Shakespeare Theatre Company’s Emery Battis Award for Acting Excellence. She is proud to be a Lunt-Fontanne Fellow, a Studio Cabinet member, and a Ford’s Theatre Associate Artist. Her credits include commercials, voiceovers, educational and training films, TV and several independent films. Ms. Twyford is proud to be a resident of Washington, DC.
